Fragmentation: Life Out of Balance

Themes: fragmentation, disconnection, creative destruction

We are living in a time of deep fracture and imbalance. What we have broken apart within ourselves is now reflected through the world we have built: a planet subjugated, minds overloaded, the deep intelligence of the heart disconnected.

In exalting reason and scorning mystery, we severed mind from body, intellect from intuition, imagination from reason, human from nature. A civilisation sophisticated in its design yet hollow in soul — progress that has forgotten its purpose.

A black and gold design featuring a stylized sun with radiating rays and a labyrinth pattern at the center.
A woman with gray hair and blue eyes smiling, wearing a black and beige striped top, standing in front of an abstract fiery orange and red background.

“The attempt to live according to the notion that fragments are really separate is, in essence, what has led to the growing series of extremely urgent crises confronting us today.”

- David Bohm

Art & Sound Journey

The works in this Movement are anchored in duality of mind and spirit. Torn and burned papers, fiery palettes, watery contrasts, charged symbolism and texture evoke the tension between creation and destruction — a reflection of the inner and outer fracturing that we all hold.
